How Usable is Useit.com?
As the title implies, this is a usability study of the web site of Jakob Nielsen, the self-proclaimed "guru" of usability. The site is measured against Dr. Nielsen's own standards and guidelines.
I do not question Dr. Nielsen's stature or expertise on the subject—in fact I've learned a great deal from him. However, I did find he doesn't heed quite all of his own advice!
I was put up to this by my professor in a Human Interface Design class at Chico State.
